SKOANZ MEMBERSHIP

MEMBERSHIP OF SKOANZ

There are three categories of membership for SKOANZ as follows:

Full Member - 'Approved Operator' - Fees $200 / annum

Criteria: Commercial Operators that meet all Code of Practice requirements or who have granted exemptions from specific clauses in the Code of Practice. Operators in this category will:

• Be able to advertise SKOANZ membership and use SKOANZ logos and stickers. SKOANZ requests that all full members place the SKOANZ logo in a prominent position on their brochures and web-sites.
• Will be included in any advertising that SKOANZ may from time to time carry out.
• Will receive a SKOANZ reference folder, newsletters and information updates.
• Will be able to vote at the AGM.
• Will receive a SKOANZ Full Membership Cad and sticker
• Will receive SKOANZ member purchasing discounts
• Is able to become an Affiliate Member of NZTIA and receive all the benefits associated with that.
• Is able to become an Accredited Member of the NZTIA Standards Assurance Programme.

Associate Member - Fees $100 / annum

Criteria: Commercial Operators who do not currently meet all Code of Practice requirements and have not been granted exemptions. Retail and manufacturing outlets, education agencies, other organisation and private individuals.

• Will receive a SKOANZ reference folder, newsletters and information updates.
• Will receive a SKOANZ Associate Membership Card.
• Will receive SKOANZ member purchasing discounts.
• Will be able to attend AGM but not vote.
• Will receive advice and guidance when requested on how to meet full membership requirements.
• Is able to become an Affiliate Member of NZTIA and receive all the benefits associated with that.
• Is able to become an Accredited Member of the NZTIA Standards Assurance Programme.
• Is not able to advertise SKOANZ membership.

Guide Member - Fees $50 / annum

Criteria: Level One Qualified Guides. Note Level One Qualified Guides currently gain free membership of SKOANZ for the year following their assessment.

• Will receive a SKOANZ reference folder, newsletters and information updates.
• Will receive a SKOANZ guide membership card.
• Will receive SKOANZ member purchasing discounts.
• Will be able to attend the AGM but not vote.

Our membership year runs from 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2002 and subscriptions for the new year are due shortly. We look forward to working together in the future.
